How many returnees, minor patients and suspected cases have stayed in the 50 Buenos Aires hotels since the quarantine started. How many public transport trips were made before isolation and how many now. What were the neighborhoods the DetectAr program went through and how many cases of positive coronaviruses were diagnosed . Where are the UFUs (Febrile Emergency Units) and how many residents attended. Much of this information is shared every day in the news media and on social media. Now, the Buenosairean government will have all this information in a web page, public and open , that will be able to be consulted by all the neighbors.

The address is buenosaires.gob.ar/coronavirus/datos and you will be able to access statistics on the daily situation related to the coronavirus in Buenos Aires. The information will be grouped into three sections: the epidemiological situation, health and territorial management, and mobility and public space. In all three, data will be published on the actions of prevention, detection, referral, monitoring and isolation of cases, the evolution of the use of public and private transport and the transformation of public space.

These are 27 data sets that show daily coronavirus cases, cumulative cases, confirmed by swapping date, confirmed by age group, confirmed and deceased by sex, bed occupancy in the public health system, swabs, testing health personnel and active search for suspected cases by neighborhood.

Data on care in Febrile Emergency Units, out-of-hospital isolation, the Senior Care and volunteer plan, vaccination campaign, case detection through Boti, lines 147 and 107, UFU, DetectAR.

They launched an open data web page with information on the evolution of the pandemic in the City.

Regarding mobility and public space, the site offers daily information on the number of trips on public and private transport in the City and compares current trips with the values prior to isolation. It can be known, for example, that  the use of the subway fell 94% compared to a day before the pandemic, while the train and the group fell 65% and 25%, respectively.

For the publication of these data, the City follows the recommendations of an international organization, the Open Government Partnership. More than 80 countries are associated and follow these publication models with data that, on the other hand, can be easily accessed by those who are interested in seeing them.

As reported by the City Government, in the coming weeks it could continue to incorporate information. For example, the doubling times of the cases or the evolution of the R , which indicates how many people each individual infects with the active virus. Also, the occupation of intensive care beds in the private sphere.
