French President Emmanuel Macron is currently on a tour of the Middle East, during which he reprimanded the French newspaper La Figaro's correspondent in Lebanon, Georges Malbrono, after the latter reported that he met with a senior Hezbollah official during his previous visit to the Lebanese capital, just two days after the devastating explosion. Which caused enormous damage to the center of the city.

In case you missed it: Macron comes out two hundred kilometers ("What you did irresponsible") on @Malbrunot who published in La Figaro a report on his meeting with Muhammad trembled from Hezbollah.

Macron was documented in the Lebanese media when he reprimanded in writing angrily.

"What you have done, given your familiarity with the sensitivity of the issue, is irresponsible towards France and all concerned. You have heard me in the past protect journalists, but what you have done is a serious breach of ethics, unprofessional and greedy," Macron told the stunned journalist.

Macron at no point denied the report that he devoted eight minutes to a meeting with a representative of the Hezbollah terrorist organization in the Lebanese parliament, Muhammad Ra'ed.

This is the first time an incumbent French president has met with an official representative of the organization.

According to the report, Makron even told Raed "I am interested in working with you to change Lebanon."

The newspaper even bothered to point out that the organization sees the meeting as an international recognition, which it desperately needs, under US sanctions and a number of countries that have put Hezbollah on the list of terrorist organizations.
