Robbery and wounding were suspected in Sham Shui Po.

At 2 o'clock in the morning on Monday (October 5), a man was found with a bloodied head and wandering on the street off No. 127 Lai Chi Kok Road, alarming passers-by to call the police.

After the police arrived for investigation, the victim Chen (48 years old) reported that he was attacked in the area and his mobile phone was stolen. Afterwards, he was half unconscious and sent to hospital.

The police classified the case as "wounding" and "theft". The Sham Shui Po District Criminal Investigation Team is investigating the incident.

According to sources, about half an hour before the incident, the victim was surrounded by about eight suspected Vietnamese at the junction of Cheung Sha Wan Road and Shek Kip Mei Street. He was beaten with iron sticks and robbed his mobile phone. His head and hands were bloody.

Mr. Guo, who assisted in the report, recalled that he saw the victim "blooding through all the way" and reported to him that he had been beaten and robbed. During this period, a police car passed by and drove away without intention, so he called the police on his behalf.
