Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias called on the European Union to consider suspending the customs union agreement between Brussels and the Turkish regime.
The Greek news agency reported that Dendias sent a letter to Oliver Vareli, Commissioner for European Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, requesting "to consider taking measures, including the suspension of the customs union agreement in response to the repeated violations of the Turkish regime's agreement."
Last Friday, the leaders of the European Union condemned the unilateral measures and provocations by the Turkish regime in the Mediterranean, at the end of their summit, warning against imposing sanctions if it did not change its policies.
