Venezuelan opposition leader Leopoldo López speaks for the first time since arriving in Madrid on Saturday after leaving Venezuela.
López described the government of the questioned Nicolás Maduro as undemocratic.
The founding member of Voluntad Popular gave the press conference after meeting with the president of the Spanish government, Pedro Sánchez, at the headquarters of the Socialist Party.
López commented that he did not want to leave Venezuela and that he still cannot give details of how the operation of his departure was.
