A team of American researchers revealed that browsing smartphones while watching TV causes a serious mental problem resulting from what they called "multitasking in the media."
The "Daily Mail" newspaper reported that researchers have found that using several forms of digital media at the same time causes memory impairment.
In a group of 80 adults between the ages of 18 and 26, the researchers examined whether multitasking in the media was associated with spontaneous loss of attention and whether this interest, in turn, was negatively related to recall. Referred to as “alpha strength,” the background as a measure of inattention.
According to study co-author Kevin Mador, "Increased alpha strength at the back of the skull was associated with loss of attention, distraction, distraction, etc.", adding, "We also know that the limitations in the diameter of the pupil are linked to failure of performance as slow reactions and more mental distraction."
