The high school student admitted the assault and apologized for it.
He explained his gesture as a disproportionate reaction to a first assault on the teacher, who allegedly hit him with the door to the classroom.
Indicted for willful violence that did not result in total incapacity for work on a person entrusted with a public service mission, he was placed in a public educational establishment dependent on the judicial protection of young people.
He was also expelled from the establishment pending a disciplinary council.
A psychological unit has been set up at the high school, where the academic director of the services of the National Education of the Marne must go Monday morning.
