The northeast monsoon is affecting southern China; the cloud belt covering the northern part of the South China Sea and the coast of Guangdong is gradually thinning; in addition, the ring height of the severe tropical storm has increased into a typhoon. At 7 am, the ring height is about 450 kilometers east of Manila. Moving westward, at a speed of about 18 kilometers per hour, it moved to the Philippines and gradually strengthened.
