The director of the General Electricity Company of Al-Hasakah, Eng. Anwar Akla, stated in a statement to SANA's correspondent that the collapse of the two towers in the southwest of the governorate resulted from damage to the towers during the past years as a result of terrorism.
Okla pointed out that the company's maintenance workshops went to the site to assess the maintenance needs to start quickly and restore service to the participating citizens across the governorate.
The Al-Hasakah Electricity Company last week completed maintenance of a number of medium and low electric transmission lines in the cities of Al-Hasakah and Qamishli and their countryside.
