A serious fire truck accident occurred in Sai Kung. At 1:52 this afternoon (6th), a fire ladder truck drove along Sai Kung Highway Bay towards Kowloon and drove off to Pak Sha Wan and crashed into the sidewalk. It first rammed a bicycle. After colliding with a private car parked on the roadside, the cyclist was caught under the fire truck and stunned. The firefighters rescued him. The cyclist was severely injured and went to Tseung Kwan O Hospital for treatment.
The police arrived to investigate and the cause of the incident is still under investigation.
Cam footage of a car accidentally happened. A bicycle was slowly going uphill along the Saigon Highway. When the fire truck drove to the rear, it suddenly deviated from the traffic lane. It drove to the left and hit the cyclist and hit a car parked on the left. The private car on the side of the road, the cyclist was caught under the car, the firefighter continued to shovel the pedestrian path, crashed and stopped behind the side rail.
According to the Transport Department, due to a traffic accident, the Saigon Highway towards Kowloon near Pak Sha Wan has implemented a one-lane two-way operation, and the site is currently congested.
