This Sunday, a gunman opened fire on the steps of a New York City cathedral, and was shot dead at the hands of police officers, authorities reported.
The events occurred at St. John the Divine Cathedral, when a choir had just finished singing Christmas carols and the suspect approached and opened fire in the air.
No attendants were injured, the cathedral spokeswoman reported.
