South Korea has recorded the first confirmed cases of the new strain of Corona virus circulating in Britain.
The Yonhap News Agency quoted the Central Headquarters for Disaster and Safety Measures in South Korea as saying today that it was confirmed that three people coming from Britain were infected with the new Corona strain, pointing out that the injured were from one family and arrived from the British capital London to the country last Tuesday.
Last week, the South Korean government announced that it would temporarily suspend flights to and from Britain, starting from the 23rd of this month until the end of this year, and obligate all those coming from Britain to take a Corona test when the self-isolation, which lasts for 14 days, is lifted.
In the same context, South Korea recorded 808 new infections with the Corona virus, Covid 19, yesterday, which raises the death toll to 57,680.
In Brasilia, the office of Brazilian Vice President Hamilton Murao reported that the latter had been infected with the Corona virus.
It is noteworthy that Brazil is the third country in the world affected by the virus, and the Ministry of Health in it announced that 344 deaths and 18,479 new cases of Corona virus were recorded in the past twenty-four hours.
