The planet began Thursday to turn the page of the year 2020 marked by the coronavirus pandemic which forces billions of people to celebrate in privacy and at home the passage to the New Year. Broken to months of restrictions or even confinement due to Covid-19, which killed at least 1.7 million people worldwide, most residents had to follow the celebrations from their sofa.
