Real Madrid drew after an unconvincing performance against Real Sociedad today in the Spanish Premier League.
The defending champion lacked attacking ferocity and produced few chances and Karim Benzema did not find the required support from the Brazilian youth Vinicius Junior and Rodrigo.
Benzema missed Real's best chances in the first half when he failed to hit the ball hard from close range after dribbling goalkeeper Alex Romero and then hit the ball in Sociedad defender Arez Elustondo.
David Silva, a former Manchester City player, made his debut for Sociedad after participating as a substitute in the second half.
