A revenge to take.
Beaten in the first leg in the Netherlands (2-0), the PSG women's players host Ajax in a decisive match in Group C of the Champions League at the Parc des Princes, Wednesday January 24 at 9 p.m.
For this penultimate group match, the Parisians would take a huge step towards qualification if they beat the Dutch, in a very tight group which also includes AS Roma and Bayern Munich.
With two days remaining, the four teams are within four points, and Paris currently occupies second place (6 points).
After a complicated start in this group, Jocelyn Prêcheur's players recovered by beating Roma twice (2-1; 3-1).
With these two successes, combined with PSG's good form in the championship (four consecutive victories, including the last 8-1 against Bordeaux), Paris seems to have found its cruising speed this season.
But the margin is very fine in C1, where a defeat against Ajax could seriously jeopardize the chances of qualifying for the quarter-finals, especially if Bayern beats AS Roma a little earlier (6:45 p.m.).
