From 5 to 15 March 2020. 150 exhibitors between houses and start-ups confirmed (ANSA)


The coronavirus does not stop the Geneva Motor Show which will be staged as scheduled from 5 to 15 March. "As you can imagine - said Maurice Turrettini, President of the Geneve International Motor Show - this year the organization has been particularly difficult due to the uncertainties related to the coronavirus". Difficulties which, however, have not actually hindered the work for a correct organization which, they assure, also includes all the necessary precautions in the health field. The four exhibitors arriving from China and the two from Hong Kong have also been confirmed. It will therefore be a GIMS that will take place on a regular basis, between tradition and innovation that looks to the future, the one on which the curtain will open in two weeks. Reference point for most car manufacturers, despite some defections by some brands, this year the Swiss Motor Show has also foreseen some important innovations that look not only at today's mobility but also at that of the future.

150 exhibitors have already announced their participation at the Geneva Motor Show 2020 (5 -15 March 2020): they are both large car manufacturers and fascinating start-ups in the field of technology. The visitor will find a large number of exhibitors. GIMS can once again count on important presenting partners. EnergieSchweiz will be present for the fifth time at GIMS with its reduced co2 program. With this participation, the Federal Government promotes energy efficient vehicles

Since 2020, the Geneva Motor Show has an even wider network and joins the visitor as a digital companion: here is the new GIMS App. The App, available for iOS and Android devices, is customizable, so that the user can adapt the contents to his personal needs. The App allows you to receive complete information on GIMS, on Exhibitors and on important news of the event, such as GIMS Discovery, GIMS Tech and GIMS VIP Day. Even the planning of the stay has become easier. Through the App, visitors have access to exclusive offers: the GIMS Discovery Drives are drawn exclusively through the App. Last but not least, entrance tickets for public days and can be purchased quickly and easily via the App, at a more advantageous price than at the counter. The App is available for free in the Appstores in Download format. With the new entry of GIMS in the App, on the Web page and on site, visitors will be able to enjoy and view an exciting and lively event, which corresponds to the focus of GIMS 2020 on innovation and the future of mobility. The digital brand, which was developed by Jung Matt / Limmat, uses a special algorithm, thanks to which the user will never see the most important Key Visuals in the same way.

 Groups (over 20 people with escort) CHF 11 .- / person

NB: for all GIMS entrance tickets purchased at the counter on site, a supplement of CHF 5.- will be applied

The Geneva International Motor Show (GIMS) is one of the most important and attractive salons in the automotive world. Globally, this event ranks among the "Top 5".
