Two months earlier, a 20-year-old boy killed a student and injured nine others and two teachers at a technical school in Yunnan, a province in the country's southwest.
In September 2019, eight children died on the day of the return, in the center of the country, stabbed in their establishment. The Guangxi region was already affected in January 2017 by an attack. A man injured 11 children with a kitchen knife in a preschool.
