Twenty-four hours after a 27-year-old man was seriously injured in a shooting in Saint-Nazaire (Loire-Atlantique), a 12-year-old girl was also shot and wounded on Friday, according to the daily Ouest France.
The young girl was in a car on which one or more shooters opened fire, around 9 p.m.
She was hit in the calf and her life is not in danger this Saturday, according to Ouest France.
"Several detonations" heard in the evening
Local residents living around the neighborhood heard “several detonations” ringing out in the middle of the evening. “We took it for firecrackers. It was the neighbors who told us that it was in fact gunshots. But we do not know where it started ... ”, reported a resident to the daily Presse Océan.
In the process, Friday evening, other detonations were heard until around midnight in several districts of the city, without knowing however if they were gunshots or firecrackers. Many police reinforcements were sent to the scene.
