A young pregnant woman was assaulted and beaten by a gang of six minors last Friday in a park in Vichy (Allier). She had to undergo follow-up examinations in connection with her pregnancy.
The facts occurred in the evening, as revealed by the regional daily La Montagne. The 27-year-old victim was sitting on a bench with a friend. When the group of young people approached them, a violent argument broke out, for reasons which remain to be clarified.
The victim was hit, pulled by the hair, thrown to the ground by a young man and threatened by a young girl, explains the Clermont-Ferrand newspaper.
A team of Bac police quickly arrived on the scene to arrest the perpetrator of the beatings. The group of six resisted them with beatings, insults and spitting, filming the intervention to disseminate it on social networks.
Two boys were eventually taken into custody and then handed over to their parents on Saturday. Police are continuing their investigation.
