A police commissioner would have been “displaced” by the administration following these facts, according to the Alliance union.

The Sens prosecutor's office has opened an investigation for "forgery" targeting police officers from the city police station, he said on Friday.

"A criminal investigation of the heads of forgery is underway and continues", declared the public prosecutor of Sens, Arnaud Laraize, confirming information from the daily Yonne Républicaine.

Describing the case as "sensitive", the magistrate made no further comments.

According to the regional newspaper, the procedure would follow “a story of falsification of hearing minutes by two police officers from the local security group (GSP)” which would have generated a “dispute” between the officials and their superior.

The episode would have lasted from June to September.

Professional opportunity or transfer?

It is the superior of these two police officers, a police commissioner who arrived in July 2019, who would have "noted" the facts referred to, said a spokesperson for the Yonne prefecture.

Since the start of the school year, this manager has taken on another position "in the Paris region", "a professional opportunity", we added.

The Alliance Police Nationale union, for its part, referred to a "displacement" by the administration.

The national secretary "province" of the union Benoît Barret evoked "a big concern of management", "global", on the part of the police officer shortly after his arrival at the Senegalese police station.

With regard to the police officers targeted by the judicial inquiry, "when you are in an emergency with few resources, indeed, sometimes you can say to yourself 'has everything been well respected?'

», He admitted.
