Singer Ora Zitner has passed away at the age of 74. Zitner, a graduate of the Robin Academy of Music in Tel Aviv, gained fame when she released albums of composer Sasha Argov's songs accompanied only by piano.

Two years ago, her husband, director and theater man David Bergman passed away.

She is survived by two children and six grandchildren.

In the late 1970s, the collaboration between Zitner and Argov was born.

The composer has seen her conduct a choir and perform a piece of song and since then she is more identified than any other singer with the composer.

As a result of their joint performance, two records were produced in which Zitner performs Argov's songs.
