A 7000 m² warehouse was ravaged by a spectacular fire which did not claim a victim Wednesday evening in the industrial area of Blanc-Mesnil, in Seine-Saint-Denis, we learned from the firefighters.
The fire, the origin of which was not immediately known, broke out at the end of the evening in this area near the A3 motorway, located about ten kilometers north-east of Paris, has said a spokesperson for the Paris Fire Brigade (BSPP).

Many wooden pallets
The blaze, fed by the many wooden pallets that were inside, "devastated and collapsed the entire warehouse," he said.
Nearly 150 firefighters and about 20 trucks were dispatched to the scene from 11:30 p.m., as the fire released huge columns of black smoke in the sky.
The fire was contained two hours later: around 1:45 am, the blaze was still active but the firefighters had ruled out any risk of the fire spreading to surrounding buildings, according to the spokesperson.
Last May, a violent fire had already destroyed a laundry and textile storage warehouse in the Eiffel industrial zone, in Blanc-Mesnil.
