Covid-19: 386 deaths, 22,882 new cases confirmed in 24 hours

According to Public Health France, the figures reveal a clear decrease in the circulation of the virus in the territory.


According to figures published this Friday by Santé Publique France (SPF), 21,003 people tested by RT-PCR tests and 1,879 by antigenic tests were found to be positive for Covid-19 on Friday 20 November, for a total of 22,882 new cases in 24 hours.

The country deplores 386 deaths in the last 24 hours in a hospital environment.

In total, 48,265 people have died from Covid-19 since the start of the epidemic.

4,039 clusters are under investigation, including 1,539 in Ephad since November 16.

Earlier today, SPF declared that "

the epidemic peak of the second wave has been crossed"

and then added that it is "

the first time

" since the start of the second wave that hospitalizations and intensive care admissions are decreasing. from one week to another: 17,390 against 19,940 the previous week for the first, and 2,761 against 3,037 for the second.
