The Pininfarina group sees a "fantastic opportunity" for growth in Brazil, where it plans to launch "several projects" in the coming years.
Paolo Trevisan, senior vice president of the American branch of the studio, spoke about it, participating in the Italian Design Day in Caxias do Sul, in the Serra Gaucha, an important industrial furniture hub.
The market in the South American country "is already enormous and we continue to grow", explained Trevisan, highlighting that in Caxias do Sul Pininfarina has a collaboration with Florense, in addition to other initiatives with Cyrela in Sao Paulo and Porto Alegre, and projects in Bahia, Ceará, Goiás and Santa Catarina.
But the group is now looking for new partners for interior products, such as furniture and lighting.
"We want to integrate our interior design with products from Brazilian companies. I see a fantastic opportunity, I believe there is a mutual love between the style and identity of Pininfarina and the Brazilian market", underlined Trevisan.
