The iconic Mercedes-Benz G-Class was born way back in 1979, and has been improved year after year since then.
To date, although its off-road DNA has remained intact, it offers the widest range of engines ever, and various customization possibilities.
Aesthetically it features changes to the grille and front and rear bumpers, and improved aerodynamics thanks to the rear spoiler.
Always connected with the Mbux infotainment system, it boasts a luxurious interior featuring the Burmester 3D surround sound system and the rear seat entertainment system called Mbux High-End.
Faithful to its timeless shapes, the G-Class does not give up the load-bearing frame, combined with the three mechanical differential locks, the reduced gears, the rigid rear axle and the independent front suspension, to still make a difference on difficult terrain.
Furthermore, in the toughest off-road conditions, it can count on a ground clearance of 241 mm, a maximum fording depth of 70 cm for water and mud, a stable ride on lateral slopes of up to 35°, and approach and departure angles of 31° and 30° respectively, as well as the new Offroad Cockpit with information for driving away from the asphalt on both the instrument display and the infotainment display.
All engines are fully electrified through a mild hybrid system with 48 volt technology, to offer greater performance and reduced consumption.
At the top of the range we find the new AMG variant, but there is also the G 500, as well as the new G 450 d, while the first full electric version will arrive later.
