The institutional portal that allows you to map all the charging points for electric vehicles on the national territory arrives: Pun, the Single National Platform, is online.
The launch of the new tool took place during a press conference with the Minister of the Environment and Energy Security, Gilberto Pichetto.
Present at the Auditorium of the Energy Services Manager were representatives of GSE and RSE (Research on the Energy System), who collaborated with the Ministry on the creation of the platform.
The portal, which can be consulted at the web address www.piattaformaunicanazionale.it, allows you to locate all the charging infrastructures present on Italian territory, showing details on the type of power supply, the maximum power that can be delivered, information on the operators who provide the service and the status of the charging point.
"The Pun - underlined Pichetto - is an added value for the spread of electric mobility in Italy: in fact it allows for the convergence of many homogeneous data and information on the distribution of charging points towards a single institutional portal, which is as valuable for the operators as for local authorities and citizens. The evolution of this platform, which in the coming months will be enriched with new functions - adds Pichetto - will be able to make it increasingly useful for the daily lives of citizens and for administrative planning".
Thanks to the contribution of the main infrastructure managers, today the PUN already maps over 32,000 operational charging points in Italy, including those installed on the motorway networks, out of the 44,000 that exist today.
Data entry will end by July 26th.
The planning dashboards will be operational in September, while in December real-time interoperability with operators will be completed and the App will be released to access Pun services from smartphones.
