The many fans of “Koh Lanta” have never seen the 19th season of the adventure game broadcast by TF1. And for good reason since filming in Fiji for this edition, in May 2018, had to end very prematurely. One of the participants, Candide Renard, the daughter of Hervé Renard, the current coach of the French women's football team, accused another candidate of sexual assault. The complaint of this young woman, then aged 21, triggered the opening of an investigation by the public prosecutor's office in Nancy (Meurthe-et Moselle), the defendant's department of residence.
According to our information, this man named Eddy Guyot was finally indicted for sexual assault on November 16, 2022. On March 14, the investigating chamber of the Nancy Court of Appeal rejected the request for annulment of the measurement. Eddy Guyot, who has never stopped pleading his innocence, is now under threat of trial.
