A woman aged around fifty did not survive a fatal accident in Villemur-sur-Tarn, north of Toulouse this Wednesday. Information from La Dépêche that Le Parisien is able to confirm. After the accident, the deceased's husband received an alert message "coming from an Apple Watch connected watch saying that the person had received a significant shock", the Toulouse prosecutor's office told us this Thursday.
The fifty-year-old, driving a recent electric car on a secondary road, suddenly left the road. She violently hit a plane tree while coming out of a bend.
Firefighters, called at 9:37 a.m. for an accident on departmental 32, found the car on fire when they arrived. Around fifteen soldiers tried to extinguish the fire and extract the unconscious victim, in vain. She succumbed to her injuries.
At the time of the accident, the victim's husband received a message from his wife's watch, informing him of the impact and the location. He went there and was taken care of after being informed of his wife's death. The reasons for the accident are still unknown. An expertise and an autopsy must be carried out. An investigation was also opened by the gendarmerie.
