The Director of Industrial Zones in Lattakia, Engineer Mohamed Amin Ali, told SANA that the implementation of this road comes within the plan for the maintenance and rehabilitation of roads within the industrial zone, which is 525 meters long and 10.5 meters wide and serves the market of Al-Hal in the first place and cut the road more than a kilometer in front of its users.
He pointed out that the road serves the car repair area in the industrial area and used by cars with large loads and heavy weights, noting that this required the replacement of paving layers with different depths of up to 130 cm in some sites to reach the foundation layer and then put the remains of quarries and broken stone before paving.
The head of the market committee Ghassan Kheir pointed out in a similar statement that the rehabilitation of the road was one of the most important demands of market investors and farmers who mean to market their products, indicating that it serves more than a thousand cars a day mean the market with different loads and saves time, distance and cost, which is in the interest of farmers and all workers In the market of the cardamom especially that this road was completely closed during the rain.
He expressed his hope to rehabilitate all roads and squares within the market of Al-Hal by extending a new asphalt layer, especially as most of them need rehabilitation and maintenance.
