Winter leaves deep traces. Andechs' mayor Georg Scheitz is identifying particularly large holes on the streets in the local area.
The head of the Gilching road maintenance department, Jürgen Neidhardt, blames this on a strong frost and thaw change last winter. Roads with a less high road surface are particularly affected, for example because they are heavily worn. In the communities, the construction yards take on the removal of potholes among numerous other tasks. The Ammersee community building yard looks after around 52 kilometers of roads.
