A man collapsed in Düsseldorf in a half marathon and died. This communicated the fire-brigade.
According to the 40-year-old runner fell on Sunday to rescue workers with medical problems on the track. Emergency paramedics treated and then resuscitated the man.
According to the fire department, the man was hospitalized. There he died a short time later.
In April there had also been a death in Düsseldorf after a marathon. The 32-year-old runner collapsed at kilometer 20.
