Dozens of Palestinians were injured this evening in the city of Bethlehem in the West Bank, as a result of an attack by the Israeli occupation forces.
Wafa news agency reported that the occupation forces stormed the northern entrance to the city and attacked the Palestinians participating in a protest demonstration to denounce the ongoing crimes of the occupation and its settlers against the Palestinian people in Jerusalem, and fired bullets and poison gas canisters at them, which resulted in dozens of suffocation cases.
The besieged Gaza Strip also witnessed today a protest demonstration denouncing the occupation’s violations of the right of sanctities in occupied Palestine.
According to Wafa, the participants in the demonstration that took place throughout the Gaza Strip raised the Palestinian flag and banners rejecting the occupation's attacks on occupied Jerusalem and the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The participants affirmed that the continued attacks of the occupation aim to control and Judaize the Holy City and seize Palestinian homes and properties, calling on the international community to intervene urgently to provide international protection for the Palestinian people from the crimes of the occupation and its settlers.
Earlier today, occupied Jerusalem witnessed a protest demonstration denouncing the violations of the Israeli occupation and its settlement plans.
Wafa news agency reported that dozens of Palestinians participated in a protest demonstration in Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood against the ongoing crimes of the occupation and its settlers against the Palestinian people and its repressive measures by demolishing their homes and seizing their lands and properties.
On the one hand, the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that the continued violations of the occupation against the Palestinians and their holy sites, especially in the occupied city of Jerusalem, are a war crime, calling on the international community to take urgent action to stop these attacks.
In a statement reported by Wafa news agency today, the Foreign Ministry said that the attacks of the occupation forces and settlers against the Palestinians in a number of neighborhoods in the occupied city of Jerusalem, which have escalated since the beginning of the blessed month of Ramadan, are organized terrorism aimed at judaizing the city, obliterating its landmarks, controlling its sanctities, foremost of which is the Al-Aqsa Mosque and abolishing the Palestinian presence in it.
The Foreign Ministry stressed that Jerusalem is the capital of Palestine and an integral part of the Palestinian territories occupied in 1967, stressing that the steadfastness of the Palestinians and their adherence to defending their land and sanctities has thwarted the colonial occupation plans.
The Foreign Ministry called on the international community to shoulder its responsibilities and take the necessary measures to stop the occupation crimes against the Palestinians and hold those responsible accountable.
