The Revolutionary Youth Union Organization launched today the “Bodour” program to support small and micro enterprises in Deir Ezzor by opening a sewing workshop in the women’s vocational high school in the city.
The head of the organization, appointed Ali Abbas, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the project comes from the role assigned to the organization to take care of the young generation and aims to create job opportunities for students of vocational education to be productive. It also contributes to linking technical and vocational education with the labor market and production, pointing out that this project is The first and it will not be the last, as it is planned to open many projects that are in line with the objectives of the “Boudour” program, which is concerned with employing creative ideas to launch productive projects that meet the needs of the local market.
The Director of the Women’s Secondary School in Deir ez-Zor, Laila Chauhan, indicated that the project is a positive step that is carried out in partnership between the Ministry of Education and the Revolutionary Youth Union, and expresses the link between education and production in a real and actual way, and the supply of the labor market in the province with production characterized by high quality. She explained that the Revolution Youth Union provided the workshop with modern machines. In addition to all the needs for the production of clothing, curtains and flags.
A number of female students indicated that the project contributes to the application of the theoretical lessons and training they receive in secondary school, and the development of their skills and experience, given that the work in the project is carried out under the direct supervision of female secondary school teachers, and also provides them with a source of income that helps them to pay their study expenses.
