– Players wanting to change had to deregister with their old club until last Thursday so that a transfer can go ahead in the summer.
And in the last few meters, the SE Freising footballers were able to wrap up two more commitments.
Both - which somehow fits into the picture of this summer - are intended for offensive positions.
SE Freising: Brother of Captain Schmuckermeier comes from TSV Wartenberg
Among the newcomers is a well-known name: Schmuckermeier.
Florian, captain of the national league team, has been playing on the Roider-Jackl-Weg for many years, and now brother Christian would like to try something higher.
The 23-year-old previously played at home with TSV Wartenberg.
On the advice of brother Flo, the striker decided to make a change.
After the first trial, the youngster was still hesitant, but shortly before the end of the transfer window he agreed to the SEF.
"We'll still have a lot of fun with him," emphasizes coach Florian Bittner.
Because: Schmuckermeier Junior was getting better and better in the district league and was one of the mainstays at TSV.
Bittner is grateful to those responsible in Wartenberg, who agreed to the short-term change.

And the second new personality, Alexander Eppink, is also planned for the offensive.
The 25-year-old comes from North Rhine-Westphalia and comes to the Roider-Jackl-Weg with higher-class experience, having played for GFC Düren in the state league, among other things.
In the U19s he also played for the juniors of the third division team Viktoria Köln.
Because of his studies, the 25-year-old moved to Freising at the beginning of the year, the contact had existed for a long time.
Now the midfielder joined the Domstädter.
First of all, a corona infection slowed him down, in Buch (we reported) the newcomer ran for the SEF for the first time.
And coach Flo Bittner is enthusiastic: It was striking that Eppink had received excellent technical and tactical training.
"We'll have a lot of fun with him, too," Bittner believes.
In principle, it is noticeable that the Domstädter have increased offensively in the summer break - the majority of the newcomers can be used up front.
"But that's a good thing," sums up Bittner.
"Last year the offensive pretty much took care of itself." This year the coach is spoiled for choice - and the team has real competition in almost every position.
"In the end I have to see for myself that there is still room for me," says Bittner.
