District
- The police have hit the drug scene.
After months of investigation, four suspects were arrested last Monday, allegedly dealing with illegal narcotics in and around Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
This is reported by the Upper Bavaria South Police Headquarters in a press release.
One women and two men between the ages of 24 and 36 from the southern district are in custody
The officials hold back with details about the dealers - and for tactical reasons do not want to reveal too much. There are two women (21 and 24 years old) and two men (26 and 36 years old) who live in the southern district. When the law enforcement officers struck, the 26-year-old had a kilo of marijuana with him. When the apartments were searched, an additional 250 grams of marijuana and a medium four-digit amount in cash were found. The public prosecutor applied for an arrest warrant.
A judge from the responsible local court ordered the 24-year-old and the two men to be held in custody. The three were taken to various correctional facilities. The 21-year-old was released under certain conditions. The investigation by the Kripo continues. Officers from the Garmisch-Partenkirchen police force and the surrounding departments were involved in the operation.
