Woman dies in traffic accident in Mittenwald. A car crashed into an oncoming vehicle.
The driver died at the scene of the accident. Both vehicles had to be towed. Federal Highway 2 was completely closed at 4:17 p.m. At around half past nine the road was reopened by the road maintenance department. The Garmisch-Partenkirchen police station is now investigating the cause of the crash. An accident analysis report was commissioned. In addition to six police patrols, 20 emergency services were on site. The accident was witnessed by several uninvolved witnesses.
