In the final statement of the gathering that was held in Hama today, the clans declared their rejection of any illegal foreign presence on Syrian soil and condemned all forms of unfair economic sanctions imposed against the Syrians, stressing that natural resources are the property of the Syrian people and no group has the right to control the country's capabilities in cooperation with the foreign occupier. They renewed their stand by the tribesmen in northern Syria in the face of the foreign occupation and its terrorist mercenaries.

In their closing statement, the clans called on members of the Syrian tribes who were displaced from their lands due to terrorism to return to the homeland to contribute to its reconstruction.

Sheikh Ali al-Amouri, the sheikh of the al-Aqeedat clan, valued in his speech the presence of the Syrian clans, who expresses the decision of the Syrian people to love their country and firmly belong to it, denouncing the American and Turkish occupation of the Syrian lands, which will inevitably be defeated by the honorable people of the homeland and the Syrian Arab Army.

Sheikh Faisal Ramadan said in his speech: “We are meeting today to affirm our absolute loyalty to the homeland and its leadership, and our total rejection of all forms of division and fragmentation, and the expulsion of all foreign forces that planted terrorism and practiced killing, destruction and displacement against the people of Syria, especially in the Syrian desert.”

Adnan Hamad, a member of the People's Assembly, praised in his speech the active role played by the tribes throughout the years of the terrorist war on Syria and the response of their sons to the American and Turkish occupation and their mercenaries, expressing the clans' full readiness to perform any task required by the national duty.

Sheikh Nawwaf Al-Shaman, the sheikh of the Al-Hadidin tribe in the countryside of Hama and eastern Idlib, called on all displaced Syrians to return to the bosom of the homeland and contribute to its reconstruction, calling on the international community to lift the unjust siege and unilateral measures imposed on Syria, while Sheikh Mamdouh Al-Fadaous, Sheikh of the Fawaraa clan, renewed the Syrian tribes ’rejection of the American and Turkish occupation of the lands. For his part, Sheikh Khaled Al-Daher, the sheikh of the Al-Halibat clan, stressed in his speech that the Syrian clans have preserved their Arab identity, originality and noble values, which necessitates them in these circumstances to be at the forefront of any national mission entrusted to them, especially facing aggressive plots and plots against Syria.

Jamal al-Jasim, the sheikh of the Bashakem clan in Hama, said that the clans were and will remain the strong defender of the unity of Syria, both land and people, and will defend the nation’s protection against the enemies and terrorists who used all weapons to undermine the resolve of its people.

In statements to SANA correspondent, Muhammad Izzo al-Basha, the emir of the Mawali tribe, pointed out that the sons of the Arab tribes and clans in Syria have throughout history confronted Ottoman and French colonialism and exerted dear and precious for the sake of keeping the country free and dear and on this approach they are marching today in the face of all occupation forces.
