The Ministry of Health announced today (Tuesday) that another Israeli has been diagnosed with chickenpox.
So far, three people in Israel have been diagnosed with the virus.
The third patient, 34 years old, recently returned from a trip abroad, and arrived at Ichilov
Hospital in Tel Aviv with the symptoms of the disease.

It was further emphasized that the Ministry of Health monitors the information in the world and is in contact with the health authorities in the various countries.

The first case in the country of the disease was diagnosed about a month ago.
The first patient is an Israeli citizen living in Nigeria, who became infected there and was diagnosed after arriving in Israel.
