Aline, 32, saw her BoursoBank accounts emptied last August, after a call from a fake bank advisor. In total, “I lost 19,000 euros, everything I had saved since I was 18,” she laments.
The young woman was the victim of a variant of the “vishing” scam, i.e. telephone phishing by a person who pretends to be your bank advisor and encourages you to transfer money to other accounts.
