Check Point founder and CEO Gil Shvid is retiring from his position. Shvid will be appointed active chairman after a replacement is found.
"The time is right for me to focus on Check Point's next jump," says Shvid. Check Point reached a milestone of 30 years as a company in 2023, according to the company's announcement. "I am excited to enter 2024 with a global team full of energy that is ready to provide a bright and secure future for our customers," Shvid says.
