Check Point CEO Gil Schweid at the Jerusalem Post/Maariv conference
After 30 years: Check Point founder and CEO Gil Shvid will end his position and move to serve as active chairman of the company, according to the company's announcement.
Shvid said that "in 2023, Check Point reached a milestone of 30 years as a company. We have provided 30 years of growth and achieved records in almost every parameter. We have an incredibly strong security platform with a super strong team around the world and proven performance," Shvid said today when publishing two "Society's fate.

According to Shvid, "I feel that this is the right time for me to focus on the evolution of Check Point and its next phase. I intend to move into the role of active chairman outlining the future of Check Point and the cyber security market.
"We are starting the search process for the appointment of a new CEO, and after I finish I will move to my new role as active chairman. I am excited to enter 2024 with a global team full of energy that is ready to provide a bright and secure future for our customers."
