Bank rates rising “moderately” in view of inflation in 2024. The cost of account maintenance fees, for example, increased by 3.01%.
“Small” and “medium consumers” suffer the highest inflation, of 2.97% and 3% respectively. Their annual bank charges, applied for the most part since January 1, increase this year to 66.23 euros for the first profile and 147.80 euro for the second. The Panorabanques comparator, for its part, noted an increase in bank fees of two.1% this year.
