The group's global turnover jumped 10.4% last year, to 94.1 billion euros. In France, where the group generates almost half of its activity, turnover increased by 4.7%.

Although the operating margin fell slightly, to 2.7%, it was stable in the second half, and net profit increased by 7.6%. The group is reaping the fruits of the transformation initiated upon the arrival of its CEO in 2017. Since the summer, households have been spending more on food. This was 12.8% in France.
