Luis Caputo announced that the Government achieved a financial surplus in February for the second consecutive month. The Minister of Economy published the numbers on his X account.

In January the financial surplus was $518,408 million, product of a primary surplus of $2,010,746 million and the payment of interest on the public debt net of intra-public sector payments, which reached the $1,492,338 million. These January data accounted for the first financial surplus since August 2012 and the first primary surplus in a month of January since 2011.
