This is the second consecutive month that the Government has achieved a financial surplus, after the data that Caputo himself released last month.
In January (the data were known in the middle of the following month) the financial surplus was $518,408 million, product of a primary surplus of $2,010,746 million and the payment of interest on the public debt net of intra-public sector payments, which reached the $1,492,338 million.
These January data accounted for the first financial surplus since August 2012 and the first primary surplus in a month of January since 2011.
