Negotiations on employment: employers ask for a senior permanent contract, the government is skeptical. This contract would be offered to those aged 60 and over, with an end determined by the employee's full retirement age.

The challenge to be taken up is particularly ambitious: to raise the activity rate of 60-64 year olds, from 33% currently to… 65% by 2030. “It’s difficult to see clearly the employers’ intentions, everything is still very vague,” says Olivier Guivarch, national secretary of the CFDT.
