Nissan, losing momentum, launches a major recovery plan. The Japanese giant is targeting 1 million additional sales per year within three years, and an improvement in margins.

Nissan hopes to add 1 million units sold in 2026 compared to the 2023 financial year which ends at the end of March. So on this date, Nissan should sell 4.5 million vehicles. The group sold 4 million in 2021, and 6 million in 2017. Like most car manufacturers faced with shortages, Nissan has recently prided itself on favoring value rather than volume.
