The Economy Committee continued preparations for the controversial bill by MK Israel Eichler and others. The bill seeks to limit the portability of a phone number from a range of designated phone numbers also known as a "kosher floor" In the previous discussion it was even suggested that 10,000 people could form a closed group of numbers from which mobility would not be possible.
MK Gilad Karib forwarded questions to the Ministry of Communications, and the VP of Engineering at the Ministry answered them during the debate.
