The price of a liter of 95 octane fuel will be NIS 7.38 per liter. The price of fuel is published monthly by the Ministry of Energy and determined according to a formula that appears in the inspection order.
Since April 2022, against the background of the increase in fuel prices, the government has applied monthly temporary orders that reduce the purchase tax and the excise tax that apply to gasoline. The change will take effect starting Wednesday night and will be the highest since July 2022, when the price amounted to more than NIS 8.
