Another increase in the price of fuel: The Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure informs that the price of fuel will increase by 16 Agoras per liter and 22 Agoras per liter in full service.
The change will take effect starting Wednesday night, and the price of a liter of 95 octane fuel will be NIS 7.38 per liter.
This is an increase of pennies in the last month, which is joined by an increase of 44 pennies per liter about a month ago, after the excise tax benefit was not renewed.
The price of fuel starting Wednesday night will be the highest since July 2022, when the price amounted to more than NIS 8.

Since April 2022, against the background of the increase in fuel prices, the government has applied monthly temporary orders that reduce the purchase tax and the excise tax that apply to gasoline.
Last month, as mentioned, the curfew was not renewed and the price of fuel increased by 44 cents per liter, and now it increases by an additional 16 cents per liter.
The price of fuel is published monthly by the Ministry of Energy and determined according to a formula that appears in the inspection order.
The formula includes, among other things, the average fuel prices in the Mediterranean basin, and also refines the basket of marketing expenses, excise tax and value added tax.
